Grant Funding

DEFRA allocated the Fund £46.95 million over the four years to April 2006.

In addition the Waste and Resources Action Programme (WRAP) contributed £2.588 million to help fund communications and recycling awareness campaigns in London; and the London Development Agency (LDA) contributed £2.0 million to fund an economic development programme. This has enabled the building of new waste processing infrastructure in London and the creation of jobs and training opportunities.
